Subject: Well this is extremely beautiful
Some fascinating and satisfying aesthetic models here - track two I LOVE the subdued layer and the VIVID ticking percussion layer : it pleases my ear!!! I'll probably imitate it some day.
I love your tempos too - just right for typing and thinking - good to see dance music that's not just for literally dancing to...
shades of the Bajofondo Tango Club in places..??
In a good way!! Highly original stuff, very likely to be played regularly in this house.
Track 4 possibly my favourite : just sinister enough without losing its friendly nature. Wish I had your sense of balance and good humour.
Constructive criticism cannot be all positive, even with work as great as this, so here's my token 'suggestion' : TAGS..... I know I'm as guilty as you, and it's on my "to do" list, but the derivations on here don't always tag mp3 files. I download in 64kbps cos I "only" have 400GB of hard disk space and I have a thirst for music (also I'm cloth-eared enough to not notice the difference in most cases) and the files are showing in Winamp as "untitled untitled" - if there's any way of editing the tags, please do: reason being: people may well share the files once downloaded (eg. on MSN messenger, like I will be doing later on) and it's good if the recipient knows who the song's by....
This is certainly without any doubt one of the best things I've heard from this remarkable and pioneering website so far.
Hope this year brings about another creative spurt for you.
Thank you once again.
